Short answers, grouped the way people usually ask them. If yours is not here, the 15-minute call is free and nobody will try to sell you anything on it. Research and educational information for adults throughout; not medical advice.
The protocol
What is a personal research protocol?
A written plan for one adult and one goal — fat loss, lean mass, recomposition, sleep, longevity, or immune and gut — built from your intake and your labs by a writer, checked by a reviewer and released by a coach. It covers the compound layer (research peptides, by name and dose, from the house dosing sheets), the training, nutrition and sleep levers that do most of the work, the labs to run before and during, a week-by-week schedule and the rules for stopping. It is research and educational information, not medical advice, and it ships with a copy written for your physician.
How long does it take to get my protocol?
Typically within 24 hours of a complete intake. The intake itself takes about fifteen minutes. Every protocol is human-reviewed before release — a writer drafts, a reviewer checks every dose and lab threshold, a coach releases — so if something in your intake needs a question answered first, the coach will message you on WhatsApp and the clock pauses until you reply.
How long does a protocol run?
Most cycles are eight or twelve weeks, with check-ins at week 2, mid-cycle and the end. A short reset course can be ten days inside a longer cycle. The end-of-cycle call decides what, if anything, comes next; the full document ends with a maintenance plan, and the spacing before any repeat is written in.
Which goals can a protocol be written for?
Six, each with its own page: fat loss, lean mass, recomposition, sleep, longevity and energy, and immune, gut and inflammation. If two overlap, the intake asks the questions that settle it and the coach call settles the rest.
Price and codes
What does it cost, and what is included?
€399, follow-up included. That covers the intake, the human review, the three documents (results version, full clinical document, physician copy), the free coach call on WhatsApp, the check-ins at week 2, mid-cycle and the end, and any revised version when new labs arrive. There is no subscription and no renewal. Pens are not included — see below.
What is an invite code or gift code?
Longevity Bros is by invitation only, and the codes are how the invitation travels. A coach gives you an invite code or gift code; you enter it at the start of the intake in the Research Protocol Builder and the personal protocol is on us. Enter the code exactly as you received it — letters and numbers only. No code? You can still apply for a protocol or book the 15-minute call.
What is your refund policy?
The protocol is a written, human-reviewed document made for you, so once it has been released there is nothing to return — but if your intake fails the safety gate and no protocol can be written, you are not charged. The full terms, including what happens if you cancel before review starts, are on the refunds page.
Labs
Do I need blood work before I start?
No. Labs are optional at intake: you can complete the intake, receive the protocol with the lab list in it, and upload results later. What you cannot do is start the compound layer before the baseline panel is in — every protocol carries a baseline-labs gate, and the coach will not release you past it without the results.
What happens when I upload labs later?
The review loop runs again. A reviewer reads your results against the plan, the writer revises whatever they change — a dose, a compound, a threshold, sometimes the whole compound layer — and you receive a revised version of all three documents. Your coach walks you through what changed on WhatsApp.
My last panel is from a year ago. Does it count?
As history, yes — and we read it. As baseline, no: samples older than six months count as history, not baseline, and the gate needs a fresh panel. An old panel still earns its place because the trend between it and the new one often tells us more than either number alone.
Why is kidney function always cystatin C?
Because creatinine is distorted by muscle mass and by creatine supplementation, and most of the people we write for have both. Cystatin C is the kidney measure that is not, so every lab list on this site asks for it, never creatinine alone.
The documents and the coach
What are the three documents?
The results version is short — the goal, the plan in plain words, what you will feel and when — and reads well on a phone. The full protocol is the clinical document: the compound layer with doses in milligrams and pen clicks, the week-by-week schedule, the lab plan, the stop rules and the maintenance plan. The physician copy is the same substance written for your doctor to review and sign off, with the exclusions and interactions spelled out.
What is the coach call, and does it cost extra?
It is free and it is on WhatsApp. After release, the coach who signed off your protocol walks it through with you, reads your labs against it and answers the questions the document raised. The same coach runs the check-ins at week 2, mid-cycle and the end, and is the person you message when something feels off.
Who writes and reviews the protocol?
The team page has the names. In short: a writer drafts from your intake and labs, a second person reviews every dose against the house dosing sheets and every lab threshold against your results, and a coach reads it last and releases it. The writer never reviews their own draft. Nothing goes out on autopilot.
Pens
How do pens work, and are they included?
Pens are pre-filled and dosed by turning the dial; one pen holds 300 clicks, and the protocol gives the micrograms or milligrams per click so you can check the arithmetic. Pens are not part of the €399, and Longevity Bros does not sell, supply, source or ship any compound — what you research with is between you and your physician. The protocol tells you exactly which pens its arithmetic assumes and how many, so you can check the plan against what is in front of you, and your coach confirms the count on the first call.
How many pens will I need?
It depends on the goal and the dose. A twelve-week cycle on one compound is usually one or two pens; a pairing is usually two. The full document shows the click total and the pen count, and the budget option — the fewest pens that can honestly move the goal — is always written first. Upgrading at a check-in is easy; walking something back is not.
Safety and privacy
Is this medical advice?
No. A personal research protocol is research and educational information for an adult researcher. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition and is not a substitute for care. It carries a baseline-labs gate, a safety gate for the exclusions (pregnancy, breastfeeding, under 18, active or recent cancer, the compound-specific red flags) and a physician copy, because we expect your own doctor to read it. Their word is final.
What happens to my health data?
The intake asks for health information and, if you upload them, your labs. You give explicit consent for us to process that health data when you complete the intake, it is used only to write, review and revise your protocol and run your check-ins, and it is never shared or sold. The details — storage, retention, how to have it deleted — are in the privacy policy.
What if something goes wrong during the cycle?
Message your coach the same day on WhatsApp. Every full document lists the symptoms that end the protocol and start a visit to your doctor — a lump or spreading warmth at an injection site, a fever that lasts, blood in the stool, and the compound-specific signals. For anything acute, your physician or emergency care comes first and the coach second.
Still have a question?
Book the 15-minute call, or read the goal page that fits you — personal protocols by goal — and the research library for the house schedules compound by compound. The team page has the names behind the review.
